On a day when he hit the ball hard five times, Prince Fielder’s legs allowed the Milwaukee Brewers to salvage some momentum from a disappointing trip. Mota’s wild pitch gives Nationals 7-6 win (AP)
Elijah Dukes scored on Guillermo Mota’s ninth-inning wild pitch, giving the Washington Nationals a 7-6 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday. Dukes started the decisive rally against Mota (1-3) by drawing a walk on a 3-2 pitch. Pinch-hitter Dmitri Young shot a single to right, moving Dukes to third.

McClung, Brewers stifle Nationals, 5-2 (AP)
Seth McClung was victorious in his first start in almost two years and Corey Hart and Mike Cameron homered to help the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Washington Nationals 5-2 on Saturday night. Replacing ineffective Carlos Villanueva in the rotation, McClung (2-1) allowed two runs and four hits over five innings.
